Our Huarache Loafers are made from raw leather and foot-loomed fabric. The leather starts out a honey color but will change to a darker honey color due to the natural oils from your skin! The sun will also help to cure the leather to its final tone. Each strand is hand cut to form the intricate basket weave!  All handcrafted in Antigua Guatemala by skilled artisans who love their craft. 

Ah, and the fabric, yes, it's also handwoven, it usually takes one of our weavers 6 to 8 hours to weave one yard of our accent fabric! The colors are vibrant and remind us of warm summer days ahead. This is slow fashion at its best! Good for the earth. Good for Artisans. Good for you!
